Tom Gillis, a 6G coded TIG pipe welder, has joined our engineering division after recently relocating to the Oldham area from the Midlands.

Tom has over 20 years industry experience, recently coming off one of the UK’s largest data centre’s install TruBore stainless steel pipework. 

Tom’s primarily role is to assist in the pre-fabrication process at our manufacturing HQ in Derker, Oldham. However he will also assist our on-site teams from time to time. Tom has already got stuck in and has tweaked our weld procedures for hygienic pipework.

Our Managing Director David Burns had this to say about the appointment ‘Tom has already shown exceptional welding skills and fits into the team well, he will enable us to increase our work capacity while also assisting the development of our apprentices.’
