Gas Main Upgrade
Whilst working on site, a tightness test on the existing gas line showed a leak underground on the existing gas main.
This was reported to our client who asked us to deal with the end user to resolve any issues.
Whilst the end client was obviously concerned about the leak, a gas shutdown with underground pipework, crossing the delivery entrance, was going to be problematic.
We proposed to complete the road crossing overnight, carrying out the gas changeover the next day.
We managed to complete the work with minimal disruption to the clients delivery entrance and the gas was only de-energised for around 4 hours.
